About Us > Affiliates

GUARD Insurance Group is the holding company for a number of affiliates that participate in various aspects of the insurance industry. We have also chosen to trade under that name.

Our group includes four subsidiaries — AmGUARD, EastGUARD, NorGUARD, and WestGUARD — that write commercial insurance policies for small- to mid-sized businesses throughout our operating area. InterGUARD is a program manager that handles marketing, underwriting, policy issuance, compliance, premium collection, loss control, and claims on behalf of our insurers. GUARDCo coordinates a variety of activities related to claims and medical management, using the techniques of managed care.  Together, these six affiliates give GUARD Insurance Group maximum flexibility in responding to opportunities within the marketplace without sacrificing efficiency or the quality of our product.

In May of 2007, GUARD Insurance Group became a wholly owned subsidiary of Clal Insurance Enterprises Holdings, Ltd. — an international company providing additional resources that will allow us to pursue broader strategic plans for the future.
