Leadership Wilkes-Barre projects benefit community

March 24, 2019

Leadership Wilkes-Barre is dedicated to improving the quality of life in the area, as class members are tasked with working in teams to develop influential civic projects. Among this year’s projects is Dressed to the 9s which will help organize and remodel Dress for Success Luzerne County, an organization that provides women with attire to help them secure employment.

According to Dressed to the 9s team member Bill Orasin of Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies, “By helping Linda [Armstrong of Dress for Success] organize, we are hoping to provide the best possible experience for her clients and allow her to best utilize the many wonderful donations she receives throughout the year. We have also been fortunate to receive many donations toward our project from very generous companies in the area, including InterMetro…and Proctor & Gamble…. Other key contributors include the Outback Restaurant, Hilton Garden Inn, and Berkshire Hathaway GUARD Insurance Companies.”
